Led the development of integrated data systems for the running of 2024's Spending Review.
Created a data collection, processing and presentation system with bulletproof reliability for thousands of officials.
HM Treasury: Data Collection Platforms
Developed a platform for gathering and working with finance data across government, modernising a stale data collection process, from scoping to implementation, under two months.
Now used to gather critical finance data from over 25 departments.
HM Treasury: AI Tools
Created and iterated AI tools including a secure instance of ChatGPT, a virtual analyst, tutor and AI researcher capable of harnessing all internal knowledge.
Now used by over 1000 staff in the organisation every week.
Suffolk County Council: Social Care Monitoring and Pricing
Harnessed data and a range of economic models to find the optimal pricing of social care across the county.
Monitored the flow of customers during change in service provision, informing operational and strategic decisions.
DESNZ: Identifying Fuel Poor Homes
Created a machine learning algorithm to improve service delivery efficiency while ensuring fairness and transparency in public service allocation.
DESNZ: Property Database
Created a dataset of every property in Great Britain combining energy consumption, property characteristics, energy efficiency, property value, occupant characteristics and more.
This enabled publication of various National Statistics and assessments of policy outcomes.
Data was acquired by leveraging and abiding by the Digital Economy Act, GDPR and Data Protection Act, alongside other laws governing data management.
DfT: Modelling Transport Connectivity
Developed a system to simulate the effects of transport interventions across rail, buses, cycle lanes, paths and roads.
The system is used by a range of central and local government organisations for public transport to infrastructure to housing planning.
